The Treehouse
A warm welcome to our Breakfast and After School club, open to all pupils of our Federation and based at Whitchurch CE Infant & Nursery Academy.
Our breakfast and after school care is here to ensure your child has the best possible start and end to their school day.
Our activities are child centred, purposeful, playful and fun and offer the advantage of your child already being on the school site before and after each day.
Breakfast club
Our breakfast club will run from 7:45am to 8.50am, Monday to Friday. We can offer a 7:30am start by prior arrangement but this will incorporate an additional charge. The club will be fully supervised, providing a safe and fun start to the day which includes indoor activities and games.
After school club
Our after school club will run from 3.05pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Once registered, the children will be encouraged to have fun through play-based activities and are fully supervised at all times.
The Treehouse is able to take full advantage of the whole school environment, including the playground and grassed area. The children are free to choose from a selection of both planned and unplanned activities which enhance their learning and development. Resources will be readily available, which could include arts and crafts, colouring and drawing, board games, construction, jigsaws, physical play and quiet areas for reading etc. Laptops will occasionally be available for educational games.
Our Menus
We recognise the importance of healthy eating. There will be a choice of breakfast for your child/children to enjoy plus a drink each day. After school, the children sit down to a healthy snack each day. As our academy promotes independence, we will encourage the children to help with preparation, service and clearing away afterwards.
